Platone

Platone is a wine obtained from selected Negroamaro and Primitivo grapes, and from vines which are more than 75 years old.
The grapes are picked about 15 days later than normal, and this allow them to reach greater ripeness. The wine which is thus obtained is stored for about eight months in barriques. Its colour is intense red with purple shades, and it is excellent with game steaks and roasted meat.
